“Fast Food Nation" by Eric Schlosser (The Dark Side of The All American Meal)

I wish Parents & Teachers of America would read this book. It's a "tell all" book about the conversion in our generation to "The McDonald Syndrome." I began my working life as a car-hop in 2 outdoor Restaurants at Willshire & Western and at Sunset and Vine in Los Angeles; earning my way through College.

The author makes two definitive studies of eating habits in California and Colorado Springs, Colorado.

One quarter of our Adult population and our children have been mesmerized by changing eating standards.

Ray Kroc, of McDonald's fame, said " We will make conformists" and the success of the Fast Food industry is evident. The malling of our landscapes and frightening facts on obesity & health of America, is shockingly and cleverly revealed.

All goes well here & I'm becoming more and more a fish and vegetarian…Great Food...
