As I remember you; along with David, were perfect babies.
Gordon Brand(our dearest friend for all these years) made 6 "Rabbit-hutches" in one of the rooms off the sanctuary. Ours & theirs were the first babies born in quite a while in the church.
I remember picking you up while you were sleeping, taking you to the car..then carrying you into your bedroom, & covering you for the nite..I even mentioned this in a sermon.." Death is like going to sleep in one room and then waking up in another(John 14).
You already know the story of the change in our lives when the twin boys came. David was the only one who could sit in a chair at the kitchen table..
Because you kept throwing your tin plate onto the floor; I drilled a hole and bolted it to the highchair table.
When you and the Twins were dedicated in a Mother's day service. Ruth Fackler held your hand and David's hand. Your amazing Mother, so admired by all ,held the twins. What a beautiful Family!.. Many of the women found joy in making clothes for
"The Shikles Six"..
I dedicated you to "The Christian life, the worship of God and service to your fellow-man"

Words cannot explain your caring, unique ministry to our world of needy people; nor the deep feelings I have that you came into our Family and blessed us all immeasurably.
