My Grandson is introducing me to Miracles with this "Beast"*... It is such "Serendipity".....Now, before I become 94...I have experienced a new world..Our "HUG-NATION." TUESDAYS AT ONE....We are "Podcasters".!
There is really, flesh & blood people like us out there.. rooted on this Planet.... We go around the world in about 9 seconds....brothers & sisters touch us in reply. They ,too, send words we understand....
Nearly 100 have replied! with a greeting. ..SO..~ I remind myself in the words of Buddha:"I am in the nature to grow old. There is no way to escape growing old (this old house and plumbing speak to me every day) I am of the nature to die. there is no way to escape death (Now I'm living with the reality of death on the horizon. With Carol physically gone; three years ago, I watched her, holding her ring-finger hand.. She just stopped breathing... This Reality is ever present. Day & night) It will come to me too...
My Mother told me a Dr. Glover slapped my buttucks over 93 years ago, as I came out of her womb ..I screamed & started breathing...I've been breathing every since. It;s just as important as my beating heart,which runs a carload of blood through this amazing body every 24 hours....
My actions are my only true belongings. I cannot escape the consequences of my actions. My actions are the ground on which I stand."I am of the Nature to Live! WOW.This old body can move..still run a little bit . I can think, will, choose, and create....
The Beauty that strikes my eyes from this "Cocoon": "Paradise" on a hill is exhilarating. People like me in their 90's in America are a "Great Generation." We never had it so good...Clean air...Abundant delicious food...Fruits & vegetables galore, Fresh Fish three times a week. An amazing Library. A staff of 170 courteously meeting all my needs...Clean fresh Colorado Water.
It is my nature to be grateful for the Amazing gift of Life...to know I've invested it well in affirming and helping others see and practice the Christ-like life;...following the teachings of the Greatest man who ever lived...I try to role-model Him...I occupy space...I have this wonder of "Time" and the "obstetrical accident" to have been born in America...In Reality I've been born and died two times with amazing Heart Surgery!
(7 bi-passes... And now I look as Buddha did toward Death.... For me, the "3rd Birth"...
He said it would be "Nirvana"...a kind of assimilation in "Nothingness".
Not for me! The Best is yet to be. "Eye has not seen...Ear has not heard the best God has prepared for those who love Him." (implied by Aristotle & Paul).
