My! That was truly wonderful! I awakened this morning with a bubbling feeling of gratitude for the fun & Joy in Celebrating my Life of 93 years.... No words can encompass... the feelings of having the privilege of being in, looking down, looking through, imagining...thrilled with all the touching & hugging experiences that come at a death...Over a hundred were present to participate... There were deeply meaningful, voiced & unvoiced joys in the relationships of this Wesley-Palms Family...and our Family... Playing with my first great Grandchild, Harper Lee Lowrey…Animal Jumping. Her questions…singing, her correcting me....Her .openness…fidgeting, excitement...Listening to her voice saying things she put through her brain...Her sense of wonder...I kept thinking of her mother Tracy...at that age...Carol would truly be excited to what I would share & think about Life....What a precious, investment is life with it's unique relationships of three generations... Scores of fellow residents along with Dale & Leanne Johnson..& their two grandchildren from Alaska. The Reverend Charles Davis's; from Oceanside; so many of my, dearest of friends, present. Sue ,& my helpful Styn Family, made it all possible, with their presence and arrangements before & after. ...For me it was a Celebration of Death & Life.... As I prayed in the water at 5:30 p.m....My mind included each of you...Nothing in this world of relationships is significant like" Family". The high Point for me was the creation of Halcyon's Film on "Teaching Old Dogs New Tricks."... I had never seen it, and he showed t on our large screen...It is a "State of the Art" new C.D. presentation...Many classmates said after the Party: "That was Great"....I personally felt like I had gone into another dimension... "The Third Birth"...& immortality, seemed so real & available..& meaningful in this Party Celebration.. .In my contacts today: Dining Hall, Yoga, classes...etc I imagined my looking through People,;... like "Emily" in the immortality play, after she dies. :. What a Memorable Celebration of my life.!.. (Thanks for scrolling & deleting).. Caleb Elroy April 9th,1912.
