Cavalia: A Magical Encounter Between Man and Horse

I went to see a magical encounter between Man and Horse....2 & one half hours in a Tent like the Denver Airport on our Del Mar Fairgrounds. Air Conditioning
Takes 18 days to set it up. 30 trailers, trucks...78 actor's & acrobats...We had 40 feet away seats...20 of us...Amazing photography tracing man's relationship with horses (35 of them & 15 in understudy). It was awe Inspiring. Creatures, Ropes, (like Mary Martin & the Angels at Christmas in the Crystal Cathedral.), Rodeo stuff...Jumping gracefully over bamboo poles...Captivating music... A PART OF MY EDUCATION ..I NEVER HAD TIME TO DO THESE EXTRA THINGS.

After church yesterday I went with 22 classmates to the new Petco Stadium close to the water...downtown...What a view of this exciting City of San diego. San Diego won the Ball Game....Hot dogs cost $6.oo...A glass of Draft Beer is $7.00. Even Snow cones are $3.50! (I wonder how people like us will pay for the war..& all this extravagance and national debt! 39,000 people present... with hundreds of children.
Now I am no longer tutoring on Monday mornings... after 7 years...My hearing and Eyes are weakening...The new Principal hasn't a coordinator....& not very interested...
This week...I'm starting really to throw away materials.... My goal is only to handle "stuff" only once....I'm inundated...
I'm not throwing away tomorrow. I'm planning ahead...Denver next September 2005... and "Old First" Church, Steamboat Etc. September10 to25...Carol always said "Half of the fun is planning and dreaming about it"....
I'm working diligently to elect a new Congress woman...Told her : "I'd call on her when the cherry blossoms bloom in D.C. Spring”...(Son David will help me) ...I badly want a change in our National Political Leadership...
