I just got back from my morning walk. In l5 minutes I was watching the great waves at the Cove in La Jolla and running and walking the Ocean Beach. Suddenly there were Foxy and Ron out for their morning walk.

The Surfers were there too waiting to go out and ride the waves. Our Firm, to whom we just paid our $3500 monthly rent is adding on to Casa Manana a number of Condos. "Some of the Condos will cost a million," a worker said. Carol is now in the swimming pool in a Swimnastics Class. Today I have lunch with 9 classmates downtown and see "The Cider House Rules." This book we studied in our Book club. I hope you'll read the book.

Last night we had a delicious soup from Sue's avocado and lemon trees:

Two crushed avocadoes, One lemon squeezed, and a half can of Chicken soup. This was warmed and we put in cubes of sour dough bread. It was filling and delicious eaten in candlelight. After the news hour with Jim Leher, we read several chapters in the Book Club choice, "Slaves in the Family" by Edward Ball. Tomorrow nite I show to about 50 people, 'The Dead Poet's Society.'

Each afternoon at four o'clock I think, visualize, and pray for each of you in your work, friendships and choices. Carol and I were speaking this morning about how blessed we are in having such a wonderful Family.

We are pulling for McClain and Senator Bradley.
