Grandchildren

I want to share with you a new dimension in my life. I'm now wearing two hearing 'enhancing' devices. A new world that has been closed to me is open again. I've been missing a lot. No wonder I've been saying "huh" so much and left out of conversations. I'm really deaf without this help. I've kidded >myself. I've procrastinated. Now I'm hearing the birds sing. the bubbling fountain in our Patio, the crickets, and the crashing of the waves at the beach nearby.

I've been putting this off too long. It's my loss. Life is becoming more meaningful for me. I'm receiving the feelings conveyed in people's voices in a new way. I even hear people whispering and my wife's breathing at night.
